“Recently, I found myself at a sort of crossroads … it was in the making for some time now …for years being in 7 (I kid you not!!!) boats at the same time - architecture, design, practice, academia, PhD, teaching, family and motherhood (single parenthood) took a toll on my health and wellbeing ... It wasn’t about if I should give one of these things up, more about how can all these can be interconnected to make sense to me.

Design Your Next turned out to be the right platform for me to learn, connect with other strong women, push my boundaries, create space for myself, realise my passions, and do it with panache! I re-found my love for writing (it just flowed), I reconnected with my love for dance and games (it was fun!), I re-evoked my beliefs and idealism, I re-placed my trust in the hands of my community, I made a tribe!
